Some lines can be traced back 1,000 years, others barely 150 years. My ancestors who came to the US include a Danish carpenter, a German bookbinder, a Dutch doctor, an English coal miner, a French soldier, and a teenaged girl from Denmark traveling with her older sister.

Came from England and can trace back to the early 17th century. Mom's family came from England in the early 1900's and that is how far back I can trace them. For may Father's family they were Puritans and for my Mom's it was economical.

I am a second generation, my grandparents came from Russia. We are Jewish. My husband's family has been in the US since the 1600's. We have his family tree back to the 1400's.

I know a little about my family tree because I've talked and asked questions about our family with my grandparents and relatives. Always try to get as much information from your elders as you can, they've got a lot to say, and they are being pushed out of the lime light these days.

don't experience undesirable i'm accompanied in a multi race kin the only element i understand is i became born in bern switzerland and accompanied and 3 months i'm the oldest of five accompanied brothers and sisters I actual have a danish brother a irish sis a Salvadorian brother and a black brother

-On my mother's side of the family, I can't go back very far. What I do know is that they were originally from Indonesia.
-I'm not sure about my father's side, but I think his family was from Great Britain, and Czechoslovakia.

I know some come over during the Irish Famine, and some over before the American Revolution and some were already here (native americans)

I have so far gone back to the 1100's, I'm related to
King Edward I...kinda neat to see where all my family has been!

One half came from Poland to Ellis Island N.Y, you can go to Ancestry .com and get all kinds of info on your family roots.

on my moms side i go as far back as 200bc in england & ireland, her family came to the united states in the 1740's and started out in fredricks virgina,
my dads side came from poland and settled in NYC. during the 1920's
