Quickest way to fall asleep is to eat a full meal, be fully hydrated, find a comfortable and quiet place to lie down. Then practice breathing slowly and clearing your mind of the days stress. Find something to think about that is cyclical, like how do monarch butterflies find milkweed for their eggs. Think on it and push everything else aside. Breathe the whole time very carefully slowing down the interval between breaths. You'll be out soon after that.
Now-
You posted a poem a few minutes ago and then removed the question before I could send my answer. If you don't want an answer to it anymore then ignore this:
You asked about "getting" a poem:
What do you want to get? I mean besides a spell-check on words like "Tallent" and "Ofense". Poetry is an art not a science and as such is extremely subjective. There may actually not be anything here for you. Why do you want to "get" this?
The rhyme scheme seems juvenile. The word choices and attitude seems masculine. There is a vein of self-deprecation running through this and it is framed with stanzas that bare a manipulative intent. The middle verse makes use of word play that suggests the author planned out at least some of the delivery. It is clearly addressed to the reader and was expected to only be read by a small audience. It is very personal in its use of reference to the reader and a pattern of events related to the poem.
Really, for me this seems like a work written recently by an adolescent. Either a male or a young woman who lost her love for horses very early. It is written to be given to one person with the knowledge and expectation it would be read by the recipents friends. That makes me think more that it was written by a male to a young female friend. The male is intelligent, may dabble in sports but isn't really an athlete, is passive aggresive and trying to do things to someone he knows he will regret later having hurt.
That's really all I can get out of it without knowing more about the context, author, and intended audience.

This routine always works for me: soak your feet for a few minutes in very warm water (also your hands). Put some warm socks on afterward. Take a melatonin, but only the sublingual type that melts under your tongue, as this gets into your bloodstream very quickly. You can find this at health food stores.
Have a cup of warm milk - a little vanilla extract added if you like.
You will be asleep in no time.

I do this if i cant fall asleep right away, and i need my sleep, Do this, when you are laying there, this might sound wierd but honey it works Think of an object, an object not a person but an object in your room, like a perfume bottle, a nick nack, a book, anything that is an object, and focus, Then slowely think Who actually came up with this object, Wonder, and wonder, Then take your thumb and relax and wrap it around a end of a sheet, and act like your writing in the air with this end write down the name of the eventor, and it boring you find its boring to you, soo boring, your aleep

benadryl, its also available in a very cheap form called sominex which is actually sleeping medicine. The active ingredient is diphahydramine, which is not addictive and functions both as an antihistamine and a sleeping aid. Unlike other sleeping medicines, I found that sominex doesn't make me drowsy even if i get less than 8 hours of sleep. Obviously you don't want to operate heavy machinery after taking it, but it has very very very few side effects.
