I'm french and I'd like to learn that language. But I first want to know if it's a difficult language, if it's nice, beautiful, if I should learn it, etc...lol
Thank you very much!

Swedish is a beautiful language. Because of its similarity to German and English for those who speak one of these languages it’s not very hard to learn. Its pronunciation is kind of different though. But it’s nothing one can not master. Its writing is mostly phonetic and it does not have much historical writing which makes it easy to learn how to read.

I know quite a few people from different nationalities who were able to learn it in a year or less while living in a Swedish environment.

Mastering Swedish would also enable you to learn Danish and Norwegian for example.

I am German, and a long time ago, I took a couple of classes in 'Suedois'...if I remember correctly, except for the pronounciaton, it is a simple language, especially the grammar! So, if you have a good ear for languages, go for it!!!

It is a beautiful and melodic language.
It isn't a difficult language for most, but since your French it may be over your head.
