I am traveling next week to the Kingdom for the first time and will be meeting 4 girls ages 10-16 and a 5 year old boy. Any ideas?

well I live here in Saudi, and just about everything is available now a days... Kids arent picky. Just look around your area and what you see is popular there will go fine here.. Maybe a clothing fad for the older kids, dolls, toys, and candy are all available here. We have Toys R us.. we also have Safeway grocery stores which carry all the american brand candies.. We have a large book store that gets all the lastest books/comics.. Just bring them anything you think a kid likes.. Any gift is a good gift to a kid.. its more of the "getting" effect than the actual gift itself.. At least thats what ive noticed..

well you will be very surprised to find that most american brands are available in Saudi, specially sweets I would consider books or toys specific characters.
for instance i have asked a friend to bring me power rangers related things like t-shirts & clothes with their pictures on for my son.
Best thing to do is get whatever you want & it is the thought that counts.

most candys are now available in saudi arabia. except one type of candy called jawbreaker. it is a round ball like candy not sold in saudi arabia. people in my school are crazy about them.

American Barbies... because they have their won Muslim Barbie doll. However, you might want to bring them American made things because every thing in there is Asian made.

Gummy Worms, Nerds, Jolly Ranchers, Pixie Stix....
i know this bcause i live in Dhahran...whenever we see this candy we die for it. its no longer available here.
