That is quite common in many denominations. The bible teaches prejudice and therefore we have prejudice. The bible teaches jealousy and vindictiveness. There is the reason. Not all people can follow any belief structure the same way, yet all believe they walk in the light of truth. It will be a great shame when the batteries fail in those flashlights they follow.

Good thing they represent such a small percentage of Christians world-wide. Too bad they are the majority in the U.S., and define the view of Christianity held by most non-Christians in this part of the world.

because they think they are the only "real" followers of christ and others like catholics, anglicans etc are idol worshippers and are doomed to hell. btw, i'm not making any of these up because I'm from another christian sect and some born-again christian told me to my face that i'm going to go to hell unless i recite the born-again prayer and stop going to my church. these are all misconceptions and lies taught by evangelicals like jerry falwell etc. who are nothing but hateful people misleading their followers of millions, and it's just a very sad thing to see.

They are Christians in name only. In the Last Days, they will cry "Lord! Lord!" And He will say, "I know you not." In no way are they living their lives in the way that Jesus ministered out of love. What they demonstrate in their rude behaviour and ignorance has more to do with being entrenched in particular cultural and historical backgrounds. It is as if they possess tribal mentalities. Jesus said to love your neigbour and your enemy as yourself. Obviously, they are not doing this. We can only pity them and vow not to live on this level ourselves.

I'm thinking they can't handle anyone with a viewpoint different from theirs or anyone who does anything differently than they do. I've been told I'm going to hell since I was baptized and confirmed. I'm an Episcopalian and they really have a problem with my church.

The devil is always at the ready to turn good to evil. If he can't draw people away from Christ absolutely, then he tries to corrupt our faith and practice. Being wounded by original sin we fall for it, hook, line and sinker.

It's all about "Power" and "Control" But most of all, it is about "Money" Christiany is a business, and in order to get more customers for their religion, they have to tear down the competition.

They say that you will know that they are Christians by their love, so what does that tell you?

Almost all of them are like that; that's why Christianity is on the decline. It will one day be nearly extinct.
