I don't think there is. Just a urine culture, to test for blood IN the urine.

One sign of bladder infection is frequent urination. But remember, with diabetes, there is also frequent urination.
If the bladder is involved, the patient will usually fell pain in the supra-pubic area and urination may be painful. In gneral a blood test is not performed unless the patient has become septic from spread of the infection.
Usually, a sample of urine is checked under a microscope for yeast and bacteria and then plated out on a petrie plate containing media for microbial growth.
Based on what is found on the petri plates, an antibiotic may be prescribed to kill the infection.
Blood in the urine should be referred immediately to a physician for a consult.

The test for bladder infections is usually just giving a urine sample; you don't need to have your blood drawn. Yes, bladder infections cause you to urinate frequently, as well as feel sudden urges to urinate, and often it burns as you urinate.

A urinalry tract infection refers to an infection anywhere in the urinary tract. Kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. A bladder infection is the same thing. If your urine test is negetive then it's negitive. How old are you?Could you be pregnant. It could be an STD. Go to the doctor and tell him your symptoms and he will be able to tell you if you have a problem.

No you do not need to take a blood test for Bladder infection they will make you pee in a cup your pee should look dark like pink or maroon and it hurts when your not using the bathroom. You need to see a doc and get meds one is a little maroon pill and one big white one- one will ease the pain and the other one will clear the infection.Good Luck and drink lots of water :) and you do use the bathroom often even if a little bit comes out.

Yes there are a blod test, that is why when you get blood work it tells so much about you. It could be a Kidney inf. It could be a lot of things, The test you took maybe that was all they were looking for. sounds like they need to check the blood for other things.
If you don't like the doctors answers, find another.Good luck
