my little girl starts school this year and i'm ok with it - i think! it will pull at my heart strings but she's ready for it. As for the extra time i will have i already work two days the other three will give me time to decorate the house. its long over due and impossible to do with a three year old at your heel!!

Aww bless it is hard when they first go to school and you feel really lonely and yes aside of the tidy house it can be quite hard to fill the days, what about a part time job that would fit in with term time?

my youngest just started nursery 2 weeks ago full time.I find it awful so empty with no children in the house, she loves it though. I have always worked 2 days a week, but i will look for more hours now to keep myself occupied. Dont worry, youll son enjoy the peace.

my son starts in august as well, i am lucky i do a part time job just now when my son is at nursery, and i have 2 days off a week where i have mum and son time ie we go out for the day, so i am going to be lost on those days. you could look into going to college, getting a part time job, or just enjoy the peace and quite.

Volunteer at her school a couple of times a week. If that's not enough try getting a job there as an aide, then you will have the same schedule as you little one.
