I'm online wanting to buy a webcam. DO they record sound for video without help from anything else? If some do and some don't which do and which don't?

That depends on the webcam. The cam itself cannot record sound. You need to have an accompanying microphone.

No, only video. You need to buy a microphone as well. You can get a good one for $10 at WAL-MART.

if you have a new enough computer it will usually record the sound for you.. Must laptops will as well

hye wats up well it depends on wat web cam u buy cuz i bought a cheap one and it doesnt have sound so the ones wit sounds cost a lil bit mo
