You tell me. What is the precentage of humans alive on this planet right now at this moment that are 'saved'?
The world is 33% Christian. Now remember, the fanatics do not consider catholics to be 'saved'. So how many are saved? Subtract that from 100% to see how many are supposedly going to hell.

Gorgeous; I hope you don't mind but I perused the questions you've all ready asked and saw that (based upon the questions you've asked) you have a singular and curious obsession with Christianity. Singular in that you've asked no questions on any other topic. Curious, not only because the tone of those questions reveals a heart more at war with Christians than at reasoned dialog with them, but it is also curious that you would seek to find answers to questions (at times both deep and cynical) in a shallow pool such as this forum. It is after all a place that demands all things be boiled down to a 'sound bite'. Condemning the failure of complex theology to be made simple and clear by these people in this forum is a little like condemning a good auto mechanic for not being able to explain thermal dynamics in a Jiffy Lube. For this reason I have to wonder if you aren't less interested in truly understanding Christianity than you are in venting your anger. We have all had Mormons, Witnesses et.al. attempt to convert us, but a typical reaction to such encounters is mild irritation settling down to long term indifference. Lots of people don't believe the Christ was resurrected and they just ignore the whole thing. And so I hope you don't mind Gorgeous but I have a question for you: What has happened to you that you would break your foot kicking against the goads(Acts 9:5). What is the real reason you are so angry with Christianity? Regarding your question: you don't believe in hell, you don't believe the Bible and you think that Christians are the last ones to undersand heaven or hell or God. So why bother over and over again?

Many people today say they are Christians but they belong to churches that preach that they have to do something to please God. Salvation is a free gift. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Salvation is about what you believe and trust in. The Lord Jesus Chris did it all. He died for our sins, He was buried and took our sins away and He rose again the third day for our justification. He did it all believe and trust in that. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. I would say if the Lord Jesus Christ appeared in the clouds today to call the church out less that one percent would go out. 1 Thessalonians 4: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Except a man be born again he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
-Jesus.
He wasn't kidding.
Few are truly saved.
Think of it this way.
12 true apostles of Christ changed the known world 2000 years ago without any force.
now, 2.1 billion 'followers' can't change single cities.
People often just call themselves 'Christian' for the sake of a statistic.

How many (Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Jew, etc) souls go to heaven or hell is presently not my call, but God's; (1 Samuel 16:7).

My educated guess is that 999 out of 1,000, are not going to attain everlasting life.
So if you extrapolate that to a worldwide population of 7,000,000,000, that would translate to about 7,000,000 people who actually make it alive to the other side of the great tribulation.

Why did you ask a question just to answer it yourself? Jesus said that the way leading to life is narrow and few go through it.
