Anyway I have to agree with you in Davie Cooper. But Archie Gemmel will forever be a hero for both scoring that goal against Holland in Argentina 78 and his staring role in Trainspotting.

Coop is a legend and rightly so but for pure skill and genius there was nobody like Slim Jim Baxter. Even Pele said he was a Brazilian in a dark Blue jersey. He couldnae tackle a fish supper but when he had the baw at his feet it was pure magic.

It has to be Billy Bremner. I'm too young to have seen him play live, but what i've seen on videos of old games and from clips he was the greatest.
