I have Canon MiniDV Camcorder. But my Lens just turned off.?

My screen is black except options. What do I do? I can still watch other tapes I have recorded on. Please help

U R LENS HAS GOT STUCK
WHEN THE CAMERAA IS OFF TRY CLEANING AND MANUALLY OPENING THE LENS
SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY
THEN OR ELESE TRY CLOSING IT FULLY
AGAIN SWITCH ON CAMERA
LENS SHOULD GET ALRIGHT

ok i had this same problem i remember doing somthing in the options menu i belive i messed in the lighting and shutters
