So supposedly He created hell and then set us up to fail. Supposedly only "saved" Christians go to "heaven". So let me see if I have this right.? God sacrificed himself to himself to save only 15% of all the humans on earth right now from hell. Do you really think that was a wise move?

I give Him a lot more credit than that.

I have asked this question before, it is one of my favorites.

Apparently so. It's beyond strange.

We are eternal beings just as the God Himself. Nothing is created by God. Every thing what we see today is eternal. And you will be a fool if you ponder over, what was before eternity. So the point is that we were always there and by the same logic will always exist. Can we be happy in our existence eternally is the question? Only God has the power to present this eternal world in different forms from time to time. And He has the power to fit us into different bodies. When we get into human bodies, we have the necessary instruments in it to know the God. Having known Him, we will not ask such questions!

Where did the 15% come from. God created the Heavens and the earth, Lucifer God favorite decided he was greater than God and was cast out, with his minions. God gave him power over the underworld, hell, which God must have created. Now question is Do you recognize Gods greater power, over satans? If you do then you try to walk the path God intends for you to walk and therefore his sacrafice was to save us from sins created in our weak moments, moments when we listen to satans voice. Those than strive to walk the path that God has set before us and who believe that only through Jesus will we reach heaven, then we will reach the glory of his kingdom.
It is a matter of belief, choice and wisdom on our part not his.

Here's the expanation for which you've been searching:

When Adam sinned, he ended up, along with all his offspring, a slave to Satan, sin, and death.

Jesus came to destroy Satan's power over mankind.

Satan had no authority to take the life of any innocent man, let alone Jesus, the only Son of God, so when Jesus permitted Satan and his minions to crucify him, Satan was judged for his crime, stripped of all that he had earlier gained from Adam's fall, and left powerless.

Jesus was resurrected, awarded all that Satan had swindled from Adam (and much, much more), and was appointed the new head of all mankind.

With Jesus as the head of mankind, God is now more than willing to forgive.

Now, anyone who swears faithful allegiance to Christ, through baptism, can have their sins forgiven, and hopefully be "saved".

It's that simple.

God did not create human's to go to 'hell' (whether it be a literal place or not), they invited themselves there when they sinned. He didn't sacrifice himself to himself, he sacraficed is sonJesus Christ for all mankind. He gave us a choice if we hear the the message of God and reject it then we have choosen to be apart from him, as for those who have never heard the message God is not cruel he would not punish those who do hear. Sounds about right... yeah.

And no, not the best planning. If this is the work of a supreme deity, I am NOT impressed. These are the kind of results you expect from an office temp with a bad attitude.

God created heaven and earth hell is the the grave. Sin causes death and God did pay the penalty of death for those who accept him.

If he sacrificed Himself to Himself, than who brought Him back to life? Isn't that like suicide? Isn't that a sin?

Well, I’m sure you know the Bible better than I do, so tell me—does it say somewhere in the Bible that we shouldn’t confess our sins to a man? That we should confess our sins to God alone?

Well, if we’re not supposed to confess our sins to men, I’m a little confused. Maybe you can explain this to me. Doesn’t James 5:16 tell us that we are to confess are sins to men? And, in Matthew 9:8, why does God give the authority on earth to forgive sins to men if we are supposed to confess our sins to God alone?Read Matthew 9:8.....What does that mean?

The Catholic Church teaches that both faith and works play a role in our salvation. But I think you believe in salvation by faith alone, right? Where in the Bible does it say that we are saved by faith alone?

What it says in the Bible speaks of belief in Christ or "faith." Catholics believe we are saved by faith, and our understanding of faith means that we believe Jesus is God, and, therefore, we trust what he says and we do as he asks, which demonstrates our love for him. That’s biblical (Matt. 5:48; 19:16–17; John 14:21; Gal. 5:5–6). But nowhere does the Bible say that we are saved by faith "alone."

If we are saved by faith alone, then do we need to love in order to be saved? If so, then we are not saved by faith alone, are we? We are saved by faith and love—which Catholics refer to as faith working through love (cf. Gal. 5:6). If a person says we do not need love in order to be saved, then he is saying we can get to heaven without loving God or our fellow man—a patently ridiculous position to take. Also, if faith alone saves us, faith without love, why does 1 Corinthians 13:13 say that love is greater than faith? After all, if salvation is the greatest thing we can achieve, and it is by faith alone that we achieve salvation, then faith should be greater than love. But the Bible says differently.

The place he created that you refer to is not a place rather it is a result.
