Do it yourself..... it is cheaper......... Get a wine bottle cork and a large needle ( sewing machine, etc.) Be sure to use something to bite on ( It can hurt like hell) Then put the jewelry in immediately.

it depends from one place to another. I believe I paid $40 for mine, and that was about 5 years ago. I would imagine the prices are about the same. It does also depend on the jewelry you're getting.
Ask around and see if any of your friends know of a reputable place to go. Don't go to some skeezy shop just because they only charge $20 or something. You usually get what you pay for, so if you're paying a little extra it's more than likely worth it (to be in a clean, sterile shop)
good luck!

75 dollars here (Oklahoma doesn't do them yet, so this price is in Texas), and DON'T do it yourself. I went that route, and although it looks fine now, I went through 2 infections and when I take the ring out, you can see a scar. It's also very painful to do it yourself because, unlike the eyebrow, the navel has layers of muscle and fat you have to pierce through, and no amount of ice or numbing cream will completely get rid of the pain. Also for that price quote of 75 dollars, they only give you a stainless steel barbell, you don't get to have a jeweled barbell or hoop until you've healed a month or two later.

I am pretty sure that it is the same amount of money that it would take to donate 20 gallons of milk to your local food pantry.
The differences are that the milk is needed, is practical, deductible and won't hurt you a bit! Think of that for a little while, then make an intelligent decision .
God bless you
