In a way I think it is very great and kind hearted and they are using their ridiculous amount of money for good by giving needy children homes. But in a way I think it's selfish too. Some do it just for publicity and to get more attention and to put a good name on themselves and others do it because they don't want to have their own children and ruin their bodies. So I have mixed feelings about it.

I would like to see a great experiment where we ignore all the Hollywood idiots for at least a year and see how they act then.

Let's see what happens when the camera is in on them and no one pays attention to them. I doubt that the results would be the same.

While I feel adoption is important I too would like to see more children in this country adopted before children from overseas are adopted.

Most people in Hollywood should not adopt anyway as it is likely that they don't care for the children themselves and the success of their marriage is questionable at best. In order to be successful at raising children you must first have a successful marriage. It takes two parents, a man and a woman, to be successful at raising a family.

Hollywood is normally only successful at one thing promoting a liberal agenda.

It is great to adopt any child but I wish they would adopt children in there own country and if it is just for the publicity or a fad then it is sad and I hope the child gets the love they need.. I wish they would donate money to these places so it would help all the children instead of just one

I don't agree with it. I also don't agree with Madonna paying off the black kid's family with a million dollar check just to get their kid. I think they should adopt from the USA. However I also think that once a mother decides to put her baby up for adoption then she should be forced to sign the papers right away so the adoptees aren't heart broken if the mom decides to back out of the deal. I also think that they're needs to be easier ways to get children especially newborns in the USA.

Adoption of any kind is AWESOME. When it comes to children I have no borders. Help a child in some overseas orphanage or help one domestically. To me it doesn't' matter. Adoptive parents are some of the greatest people on the planet!!!!

in the experience that your'e speaking about the persons who were given into hassle in Haiti, you're speaking about those who're puzzled and not in any respect really sane. They were influenced by technique of thier personal needs and their movements do not reflect the movements of God. They were incorrect to do what they did. Christians are human beings and as human beings they regularly do the incorrect element or make mistakes. a useless ringer for the different human beings. even as an athiest does something it quite is erroneous does it propose all atheist do such issues too?

I think any adoption is noble, however, why fly all over the world and adopt children when there are plenty of orphans and abused children right on your doorstep?

It's all a publicity stunt. Celebs tend to forget that there are millions of orphans right here in the USA that need a good home too.

To give the stars the benefit of the doubt, I'd suppose it's a nice gesture and that they were trying to make some type of statement as far as helping the underprivileged of the world. However, I feel like it's not in the children's best benefit if they were being used in such a manner. And also, I really feel like children should be raised by people of their own race. It minimizes confusion.

Why on earth does everyone on here care so much? I see this topic come up all the time. Lets see, poor children from poor countries get adopted by people who want to take care of them and love them...... what's to discuss?
