You should approach this cautiously. You should be sure that that's the reason she is going out with him. If she is, tell your friend that this is serious and ask him if he really trusts you. Then tell him the truth. If he does get heart broken at least he knows the truth. It would have been harder for him if it was the girl who told him that. (I hate those kind of people too!). This way HE can break up with her instead of the other way around.
Can you tell me what happens?( I really hate that girl, she's just playing around)
I really hope it goes well.
Hope that helps!=)

If you know for a fact that she is only dating him to go to the prom, then you need to have a talk with her and let her know you care about your friend and don't want to see him get hurt, and convince her to be honest with him, because either way he'll be hurt but he will get over it better if someone is honest with him. But make sure you have your facts straight first, maybe she does like him, I'm quite sure if all she needed was a date to the prom she could of asked someone else.Why did she ask him, find out the facts before you tell your friend anything, and the only way to do that is confront her first then take it from there. Good luck

Let them go to prom and see what happens after that.....they both may just be wanting to go to the dance to have a good time, not for anything serious after that. I could understand how you are upset with his girlfriend, my daughter brings many people over that I just wish my husband would kick them out of the house, but he always tells me to "let her make up her mind, her own upbringings will tell her heart who to associate with...." I am cordiall to these young people, even though I don't like what they wear or how they act sometimes, but my husband has this awesome sense about "doing" something toward people and letting things just play out. It is really good advice for me, so I hope you at least consider it.

A TRUE friend is just that. Even if it's not what your friend wants to hear, you have to tell the truth. Be sure you are doing this for the right reasons though

I would mention it to him, but not press the issue. If he can't see it he won't see it just because you try to tell him. There's probably not a lot you can do, but be there to support him when she breaks his heart. Don't say "I told you so" because he will already know and that's not what he needs.

Yes i would. But it depends on your relationship with this guy. If you think he will apprecate you for telling the truth. Then yes i think you should tell him. But if you aren't as close then hun just let him find out for himself. But the overall decition is....can he handle it?

tell your friend.
then he will ditch the other girl.
and then maybe you can go with him!
think logically.. if you care about his feelings, you might actaully have feelings for him.
good luck.
and BE SURE to tell your guy friend not to say anything about you telling him. that could get ugly.

Tell him and then have him put her to the test. Have him say that he's not sure he can make it to prom because he has another commitment. If she sticks around then you;ll know its for reall
