Why do most people think that Cabbage is only good for coleslaw?

I particularly enjoy cabbage simmered in stews and soups, also steamed and incorperated into meatloaf adds new texture to the mundane fare that we can easily fall into making out of habit.

The stuff is good for you and it isn't even expensive at the market.

uhmm,... asians use cabbage for other things besides "slaw". Though KimChee is more fun than kaught.
We wouldn't have those delightful exotic hybrids without cabbages from asia.

I love cabbage cooked with potatoes and ham! Stuffed cabbage...fried cabbage! The one thing I don't like is Coleslaw!!!

Coleslaw or on salads. Cooked cabbage isn't for me unless it's sauerkraut

I dont know who "most people " are but ive never heard anybody say that cabbage was just good for coleslaw, there are many ways to fix cabbage

Most people think that cabbage is only good for coleslaw because it's the most common way they are introduced to the vegetable. I particularly think napa cabbage is great in salads instead of using iceberg.

I didn't know that most people thought that wayu. I use cabbage a lot of different ways, both cooked and raw.

Personally, I think people are just afraid to find different things to eat cabbage with.

I never heard that. I make cabbage soup . rolled stuffed cabbage...and just boiled.

I don't. I love cabbage, just plain, and I love stuffed cabbage. I like it in my salads and in stirfrys. I do not really like Sour kraut though.
