Congrats!!! My fiance and I had a toss up between "rain or shine" duet with Frank Sinatra and Gloria Estefan and " Ribbon in the Sky" by Stevie Wonder. We decided on "Ribbon in the Sky"! As far as the parent dances are concerned, I like something more fun like "my girl" by The Tempations for father/bride and the classic "wind beneath my wings" for mother/groom dance.

The ones you mentioned are all great. I bartend at the receptions and like them all. The DJ you have will know all the popular songs for your area. I can't think of the name of it but I like the one where the groom dances with his mother. I will give you a star though, I like the question and there are a lot of weddings coming up.

My fiance and I have picked Me and You by Kenny Chesney to be our song. I'm still deciding for my father-daughter dance, but I'm leaning towards Unforgettable by Nat King Cole, or My Little Girl by Tim McGraw. As for my Fiance's Mother-Son dance, he likes Perfect Fan by Backstreet Boys. Yeah I know Backstreet boys, but its a very pretty song.

My husband and I danced to "Stay with You" by John Legend. The lyrics are beautiful and it has a nice groove.
I danced with my dad and he danced with his mom to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. I danced with my stepdad to "My Girl".
Then there was a parents' only dance that sort of just happened. I can't remember what it was to, though.
My bridesmaids dedicated "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" to me and we all danced to it together.
It's really important that you pick songs that have some meaning to you.
Congratulations and good luck!
