The NY Style Pizza--haven't found any, and I've lived in Orlando my entire life.

NY Style Deli, maybe TooJay's, but that's about it.

I was born and raised in NYC and the best pizza I've found in Orlando is at Gino's (120 S. Orange Ave.). It's still not authentic NYC pizza- but it's pretty close.

As for a NY style deli- the closest thing you'll find in Orlando is probably Toojay's. There are a couple around town. www.toojays.com

NYPD is decent pizza- not authentic but close-

My favorite is Flippers also- been going there for 16 years!

And I agree with Toojays- probably the closest thing you will find to a true NY Style deli.

If you want a good pizza its in Deltona. A place called Ny Pizza. The owner is from Queens. I am from New York and I loved it when I was there.

action image megastar Pizza isn't Chicago form. it relatively is a thick crust form wide-unfold indoors the northeast as Sicilian. EDIT: Oops, perplexed that with Barry's. in all possibility purely by means of actuality the facades look comparable. action image megastar Pizza does have Chicago form. I in basic terms have not been there thinking... geez... 2000? there became some Pizzeria Uno places on the city (Lou Malnati's competition), yet they have folded tents and left. I additionally undergo in ideas one in Carrolton (northwest of Dallas), yet additionally long long gone. you already know, you're no longer lacking a solid purchase. i've got have been given had Chicago form indoors the previous (i grew to improve into stationed at great Lakes decrease lower back mutually as i grew to improve into indoors the army). It grew to improve into heavy. It grew to improve into certainly a pie created from pizza factors. It took 40 5 minutes to get one to my table and that i might prefer to handle consistent with possibility 2 products. My view: Pizza isn't meant to be eaten with a knife and fork, ya understand. What Houston desires are extra actual great apple form pizzerias. i'm tempted to open one (I ran certainly one of those indoors the early 80s up in college Station), although the thought of spending 14 hours an afternoon prestige up isn't attractive in any appreciate. in actuality, my decrease lower back in basic terms gave a twinge in sympathy. EDIT: Um, CookingPancake, isn't that 3 words? (LOL) :)

The two best pizzas in town, IMHO, are

Sopranos
NYPD Pizza

Both are near the downtown area.
