Zero Cool -- basically a deist... though I define deism more or less as philosophical theism... a naturalistic theist... you know, no miracles, no revelation, "God" is an immanent process in the natural world, etc.

:-) I will be so bold as to speak for all atheists and assure you that any support in trashing hubris and ignorance -- whatever their source -- is gratefully accepted and much appreciated.
However, I must regretfully advise you that there is no such thing as an "honorary atheist." Either you don't believe in any god and you know it, and that makes you an actual atheist; or you believe in some kind of god and that's that, you're a theist.
That's how it works. So if you want to be an atheist -- then you have some thinking to do. Good luck.

Ah I get e-mails from Christians accusing me of being an Atheist from time to time, it amuses me greatly because that means they didn't even bother to look at my profile. They assume anyone that's against their religion must be an Atheist by defult.
So the Christians probably already think you are an Atheist.
