So this girl i like, i want to ask her out should i ask her out for V-day as our first date or is that a bad idea? were both college students and we met a few weeks ago.

She would prbably enjoy that especially if she doesn't have a date. It is also good because love will be in the air!

Valentins Day is not the best day to ask a person out on a first date. The expectation is too high that as a result of the date there will be a perfect relationship.
Make your first date memorable but with no obligation to go on a second if you are not comfortable. Don't set yourself up, honeychild.

Any day is a good day for a first date just don't have a lot of expectations & have fun! Just don't wait until the last min. to ask, that's rude.

anytime is a good time for a first date.. but its not a good idea to go to the places all the committed relationship people go... something less romantic would be in order..maybe a movie and taco bell..

i might ask that person out a few days in advance to ensure that they don't get plans for valentines day...but yes...you should go for it, I just wouldn't wait until that day
