Warrants do not expire nor are they expunged -- it isn't a bad mark on your credit record, it an alleged violation of some law.
However, Chrissy is correct -- it is unlikely that a person would be extradited for a misdemeanor warrant, and it is unlikely that a police officer in the field would even be made aware of such a warrant. That kind of information would be discovered if a person was arrested, and a check of warrants was executed at a police station and/or in jail.

I be live if they do a country wide search and it pops they can but the state would have to pick you up which is unlikely for a misdemeanor ,but for them to do a country wide search on your name you would need to have gotten arrested for something big. Like if you just get pulled over it won't pop but you get arrested for say armed robbery or something like that they would do a country wide search, also some states have a 7 year thing I can't think of what it is called where the charge is expunged after 7 years ,but alot of states have stopped doing that Good Luck

They can arrest you on the warrant, but, then if the other State doesn't want to go to the expense of extraditing you, you will be released, and the warrant ignored for the State you are in. However, if the other State does extradite you, good luck.

misdemeanor, not typically. You have to be arrested in the town/county that the warrant was issued. Misdemeanor warrants don't typically go federal.

Yes, And people on here need to check there facts...If you have a warrant you will always have it tell you deal with it from a judge, then the judge will tell you where you stand...first of all
and if you have a warrant then you need to get it fixes...It looks better if you turn yourself in then "be" turned it...
It's amazing how many people THINK they know the law...!!!

they don't usually want to take on the expense of transporting you so it isn't likely. it doesn't matter how long it has been...your warrant is still in affect.
