i stay longer than i was allowed to and still work and pay tax while working. I can I file my tax returns?

Not sure what you mean by "you stay longer than I was allowed to". Do you mean in this country? Or do you mean stayed longer meaning you worked overtime? You need to be clearer in your question so that someone will be able to help you. If you are a legal citizen and you worked in this country, you are able to file a tax return.

The best thing to do is to call the IRS. The number is 1800-Fed-info (1-800-333-4636) They will give you the number for the IRS.
