The best treatment for hypothermia (too cold, hyperthermia is too warm) is to have body heat. Now that he has been discarged, he is back up to the right body temperature but he will need a lot of rest. His body had to expend a tremendous amount of energy to keep him alive and to warm him back up. To help him, I would just let him sleep naked (in a diaper) on my bare chest and wrap us both up in a blanket. Then his body doesn't have to work so hard to keep up his body temperature. Set up some snacks, drinks, a movie and ask a friend to come over and just take turns being his body heat for a day or two until he has rested enough to be back to normal. If he starts to get too hot then dress him normally and let him sleep in his crib or whatever. Don't try too hard to cook him, his body needs to be the right temperature not extra warm. Hope that helps.

not really. the most important thing would be hydration, food, and rest. just make sure when you talk to him hes in a correct state of mind. hypothermia is actually a defense mechanism the body uses to keep the human alive. blood flow becomes restricted, and progresses to the point where only the major life essential organs get blood flow to keep you alive. it will take some time to recover from that, but hes not going to fall back into it either. just make sure hes coherent and doesn't wander off (especially somewhere cold).

Don't even bother with answers here - you should have been given discharge instructions from the hospital. If they are unclear or unsatisfactory, call the hospital or your pediatrician and ask what you should or should not do in terms of bundling for warmth, bathing, food/liquid intake, and medications you can or should use.
Good luck and hope he's in tip-top shape soon
