They are called "Floaters" and there is nothing you can do. Little tiny air bubbles in the back of the eye. Mine stated when I was 19 years old, I am now 55 and the floaters have made only a minor impact on my vision, as when I try to read, a little black dot would move in front of my eyes, blocking a word. As I stare at it, it would move away, then come back as I try to read. You will get used to it. But, lately, my floaters have taken on different shapes, rather than spots. Now I see lines, and what look like cell structures. Yes, they bother me, but, no doctor can fix it. I just have to live with it

It is known as a floater. I have some. I've had them since I was born, but they haven't been a problem for me. However, some floaters do appear later on during the twenties or thirties, and it's possible (but not necessarily true) that floaters can be attributed to a disease in the eye.
I asked my ophthalmologist about three years ago if I could remove them, and he said no because then some of the vitreous fluid can leak out if they have to do surgery to open the eyeball to take the floaters out, and that may cause even more floaters to appear. Unfortunately, you are stuck with the floaters, unless they go away on their own.
If you just now noticed the floater, what you need to do is go to an ophthalmologist (different than an optometrist!) and have it checked out asap. To read more about floaters, you can look at:

I have these and will be watching for the answer! If you look quickly at something else whilst focussing on the dots they quickly float to your line of vision. Wasted many minutes watching these things!

Years ago when I asked the eye doctor (NOTE - I actually went and asked a DOCTOR) she told me - Learn to live with it.
Floaters appear, more as you grow older. Sometimes there are light pieces that can be rinsed out with a good eye wash, but others just develop in the eye. They are not dangerous, just a nuisance.
Learn to live with them.
