I went out with this guy last year and things were going great. We got along well, spent a lot of time together and shared some really great moments. Next thing I know though, he's telling me it's time to let me go. I really cared about him and was genuinely hurt. So I dated around for a while (one person was actually his friend) and then we ended up getting back together a few months later. He broke up with me again after three weeks saying he had "family issues" and if I wanted to wait around while he figured things out, I could but he didn't expect me to. Recently, we started talking again and all my feelings came back. He seems to be showing an interest in me again too. Part of me doesn't want to get hurt and can't trust him but the other part of me would give anything to get him back. I still really care about him. What should I do?

Take your time sweetie. It seems he may be afraid of commitment. Make sure you give him space to figure out his issues. If he is serious about you, he will eventually come around. Like I said, give it time. Good luck to you. Love isn't as easy as it seems.

Well honestly, some of the most important things in relationships are trust, respect, honesty, and of course love. If this guy has no problem breaking up with you one time, what makes you think that he won't do it again. I have always believed that it's best to leave your past in the past and to not date ex's, because it usually doesnt turn out the greatest...i hope this helps
