The official answer from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is 4 to 6 hours outside of the refridgerator for anything that needs to be either hot or cold.

Never take a chance on something like that. Any item that needs refrigeration and is left out in an area that is less cold than refrigerated will build up bacteria. How much and how long depends on the temperature it was left out in. A hot day will spoil it a lot faster.

When a mistake like this is made, toss the food/drink and go buy/make more. Never take chances with your health.

I'd get rid of it.,but a suggestion= instead of orange juice get oranges. No refrigeration is needed and its almost the same thing

I guess it would depend on where you live. If it is as cold as where I am, it will stay good for as long as two weeks. Kidding aside, you'll know the second it hits your lips if it has turned. I t will have a medicinal taste.

You should always check the label on the box for "Refrigerate After Opening". I work in Food Service and we always say, "If in Doubt, Throw it OUT!" Don't take chances with your health. Take Care.

3 hours of less because it (the cells) will multiple and end up doing something to the juice that can spread disease.
