I knew some who did.

But my mom would throw them out.
I learned the truth when I saw my tooth in the trash one time.

Yes and i never thought too until the dentist gave my daughter a plastic tooth holder necklace for her teeth that fall out. She does not wear the necklace but i have it now in my jewlery box. She will like to see it when she gets even more older. She is now 8....My son is 1 yrs old and i will do the same for him!!!

You bet I did, and still have them, along with many other items(including a lock of their hair) saving all this stuff until my daughters have children. Then I plan to put it in an album for them as a baby gift. Looking forward to being a grandmother, but not for a while yet.

My daughter is 11 now and still have her baby teeth, i keep a baby trunk with special things like that and one day when shes an adult I'm going to surprise her and give her the trunk full of "goodies" from her childhood.

No I do not keep my kids teeth, but when i do throw them away i always wrap them in tissue and make sure the kids do not ""notice"" them in the trash. That would take away from the ""ToothFairy" idea on all three of my children.

I kept my daughter's teeth. My mom kept my teeth...she gave them to me when my daughter started teething. I'll give my daughter her's when and if she has a teething child.

My grandmother kept all my dads teeth, which honestly I think is a little much. I think I will keep my kids 1st tooth...maybe their 1st molar...but even that's pushing it.

yes I even found this little figure that you can put all their baby teeth in and it also has a big tooth that's shaped as a tooth bank to put the money in.

yes, a lot of mothers do this. it serves as a momento for their children and family to look back on. kind of like preserving a piece of their childhood.
