"I'm trying to stop others from believing" lol yeah right...I'm sure you are so civic minded. I have no probem with atheists that ask intelligent honest questions but that is far in the minority. Looking at the facts and posts it is very plain they are searching for something but keeping it disguised with a "tough" attitude. What do you think?

Good post....remember they are still searching for the truth...

And don't forget we were also at one time just like them...

"..for we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, hateful, and hating one another. But after the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteoudness we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us,..." (Titus 3:3)

no person has yet proved any area, yet i'd persist with atheism provided that there has been no evidence for some years, and individuals have a tendency to create issues to sparkling up issues. I do it for all time as quickly as I certainly have a plot hollow in a narrative i'm writing, I often make up something so ridiculous and it suits into the plot very appropriate. i actually do no longer care if god exists or would not. i'd would desire to believe you however, the burden of evidence is on them. And Ra, that quote is the main suitable quote i've got ever heard in my finished existence.

Either that or some fundmental insecurities that drive them to constantly have to assert their "rightness" by invalidating and
trying to make others, who do not agree with them, wrong.
Either way it's a sad and tiresome effort.
But why even respond to this kind of attitude?
I'm sure if there was no "opposition" there would be no point in doing it in the first place.
It's a bit like ignoring the bully in the school yard. Eventually he
goes away....

Some atheist come on here because they honestly just want some answers or want to answer some questions in thier own defence.with no desire to be hateful. i have sen quite a few here. and some atheist come on here with the intent to be hatefull. i have seen them here to. but i cannot say that thier sole purpose is be cause they feel drawn to God. some perhaps but not all. we as Christians need to remeber that Christianity is not the only religion. that is why they dont call it the Christianity section.

I suppose you are right about some of them. Maybe they call themselves atheists when they are in reality agnostics. I have an elder brother who is like that.

Most of the atheists I have met, and there are a lot of them, simply believe in no God and in evolution because that's what they've heard many times over, without thoroughly investigating the evidence. Exactly what they accuse us of doing!

I can understand why Christians would try to show Atheists the truth. If we Christians are right, they will be doomed to an eternity of Hell. But for the life of me I can't understand why it's so important for Atheists to try to change our minds. If they are right, when we die, nothing happens, no matter what we've believed during our life.

No! It's because we are keen to get knowledge of everything that involve human beings! But it might be true that others are searching for the truth and might get it here. So, it would be beyond the best interest of Christianity that you stop being nasty to them.

You seem to be having a hard time accepting the fact that atheist's don't believe in God.

LOL
Yup. Why else would they be so offended by an 'imaginary sky pixie'? I have no interest one way or the other in Baal, Zeus, the Cookie Monster, or Quetzalcoatl. So why are they so bothered by Jesus?

I also find it a little interesting, but at the same time it proves to me we serve an awesome and amazing God who continues to draw His creation to Him. To all who seek , they will find.
