How much time does NROTC (For Marines, Not Navy) take? I dont mean how long does it take to complete or anything, but how much time does it take from you on an average day? And what things do you have to do over the summer?

From Freshman to Senior year in College.

Two to four years. There are additional summer training requirements for those who are not enrolled in the full four-year program.

Time commitments vary from school to school. Some have very robust programs that serve to create extremely fine officers. Others simply fill the requirement and little training of military value occurs.

If you are truly dedicated to being a military professional, the quality of the program depends much on you. If you choose not to take the program seriously, it is an indication that you do not possess what it takes to be a successful officer, and your military career will likely be a failure.
