le msunderstood my question before I don't want to force her to enjoy art and I never do art myself. I just htought it would be fun and educational for her and since she is not interested in crayons I wondered what other materials I could get for her so she might find something she does enjoy.

have you tried slime- its a combination of cornflour and water mixed together which makes an interesting activity for kids. its sort of solid but when touched goes almost runny, its fun and also helps develop sensory skills, and physical skills, and can easily done at home.

I'm an artist and I can remember as a child I used to play with felt material .A large piece of felt glued to cardboard for background , Then small shapes of different colours and sizes . The felt sticks to itself so your little one can create and recreate different I'mages , it helps with there perception of colours and of the shape of a subject I can still remember it now i used to create patterns and i was so proud , my first masterpieces. By the way im 34 now ha ha I used it for my own two kids when they were small.

Its good to encourage ur kids into activities such as playdoh, painting (large bushes 4 her age), playing with water and bubbles, pastry and cooking fairy cakes, they tend to like anything that gets them dirty.
If you start it now it will be easier as they grow up.

She's still too young yet even for crayons. You can try finger painting but she might be too young to enjoy it.
