Interesting article and he states his opinion well. I live in a state with thousands of illegal immigrants. Yes, many are honest and hard working people who would rather make minimum wage than no wage at all. You certainly cannot fault a person for trying to survive. However, many are a drain on our schools, hospitals, shelters, food banks, and jails. Over half of the people in the LA jail today are illegal immigrants. Approximately 80% of these people wire money back home. Why not take a percentage.... say 2% from that wired money... and return it to those same organizations they are draining. That 2% would generate millions in a short span of time, and perhaps the opinion of the public might soften a bit about illegals if they knew they were helping pick up part of the bill for the free services they are receiving. But, for the life of me, I cannot imagine why we would want to set up a SS account for people who aren't citizens so they can use that money in another country.

Okay, lets think about it a little. $300 billion in a 20 year period. And how much do they cost the tax payer every year in using hospitals, schools, illegally getting food stamps etc...
Every year the illegals cost the tax payer billions. Over a twenty year period it doesn't balance out. It costs the tax payer more to have them here. We would be better off with out them and there would be an emergency room to go to when there is a real crises. Look at what illegals have done to LA and San Diego alone. The hospital E R is bankrupt thanks to the illegal alien. The schools are over crowded thanks to the illegal alien. The article you posted was done by a person that is extremely biased and Left out certain important facts. You have to take ALL things into consideration. You give me a nickle if I give you a dollar? I don't think so. That isn't a fair trade. How about, get out of my country and get in line like everyone else. An illegal is no better than anyone else and should NOT get special treatment. Besides, many work under the table and do NOT pay taxes.

It has been proven by the IRS and buisiness records that many of those illegal aliens are paid under the table, so NO, they don't pay the taxes that the person is trying to insinuate in that article. There may be a small portion that does, but not anything to make a difference in the SS numbers. Do you really think that the illegal aliens are wanting to spend any more money than they want to here? If that article was true then the second revenue in Mexico wouldn't be money sent back from the USA.

Interesting article as it ties nicely the illegal influx of dollars to the SS system which, due to our governments failings, was/is bankrupt.
That money many Americans paid into the system was "borrowed" by the government to pay for many other losses that it incurred due to crookery and mismanagement. The promise has always been that SS would be there for the Boomer generation and not to worry. I see they have found a way to comprise America ...and run up the account balances of SS to fill the needs of the day. This approach is criminal/crookery at it's best.
So now, they are not looking so bad as the illegals have supposedly helped boost it up. I think this writers claim is bogus. He supposes the majority of the money to be from illegal immigrants. I don't think this is true. But non the less, our bizzare, thumb in his ear president wants to cut this money back to the illegals that have come here as criminals, used our system and demeanded our world?
Doesn't seem correct to me.

This is the old game stealing from Peter to pay Paul. This is the course taken by our system of government. Raiding at all places, and then switch and change at the last minute to make it somehow OK.

When will we insist that it stops?

I think that the article is a one sided view of a very real problem for Americans - identity theft.

No mention is made of the nightmare that someone has to go through because someone illegally used their number and being hit by the IRS for back taxes on 'unclaimed earnings'. The many years that people have to go into legal battle/costs that they will never see the money returned to them - let alone the one that is responsible have to repay them.

No mention is made of the drain upon the citizens that are having to literally support and supply medical care/hospitalization, food, housing - not to mention the over crowding within jails that they have burdened this country with.

Let us not also forget all the 'wonderful' people that such a mentality brought into American neighborhoods. People like the wacko Mexican that rode the rails that raped and killed over 50 people that had a manhunt that covered several southern states. The killing of police officers and the negative effect that it has upon those families who now very well will be be fighting to get government aid.

The list goes on and one. Like I said, a very one sided view at a very serious problem.

I think anything past 'illegal' should be disregarded. If someone's in the country illegally, you send em home. Pretty straightforward.
Also, in terms of taxes, there exists the concept of 'no taxation without representation'. Do you advocate giving specifically the country of Mexico de facto voting rights within the political system of the United States? Hmmmm....

adverse immigrants are restricted in all countries because they have an inclination to be a burden on the business gadget and infrastructure. this is more effective actual, the more effective facilities you supply to the adverse. In our us of a, in spite of if adverse human beings pay all taxes they're meant to, they basically do not pay a lot in taxes. They pay nowhere close to the price of their newborn's training and the well being care and facilities they use, as a collection. we ought to pay for those facilities. this isn't any longer basically money out of pocket, it really is failing faculties for our children, failing and unaffordable well being look after our ill, and failing social facilities at a time even as the toddler boomers are winding up their effectual years, and facilities might want to be flush to protect their desires interior the destiny. Wages are pushed down so our decrease middle classification exhibits it troublesome to make ends meet, making more effective likely that they themselves will fall decrease than the poverty line, and teenage agers and different individuals with fewer skills have difficulty getting jobs that pay a salary which will help a kin. Wages are decrease now in authentic money than they were interior the early 80s. in the interim, degraded training has a tendency to erase upward mobility for our own children and accentuates the chop up into wealthy and adverse, with a diminishing middle classification. My children are in LAUSD. after I went there it change into between the more effective powerful faculties structures interior the country, and 80 to ninety% of Californians went on after highschool to some variety of larger training. in accordance to modern-day information, LAUSD's drop out fee is on the prompt ranging round 60%, there is no PE or pc lab or track except the mothers and fathers fund it privately for the entire college, and maximum courses that could want to correctly be decrease were decrease to attempt to elevate ESL rankings because of the 'no newborn left in the back of' act. different, American, children are left in the back of something of the country's children, in spite of the undeniable fact that, as their desires are not to any extent further addressed. Ask your question of any determine who has a baby in public college in a community the position illegals concentration. Or ask a determine who has a disabled newborn needing help degraded to serve a mass of adverse who should not be the following using those facilities. Racism is basically an insult. It has no longer something to do with the actual themes.

Rules are rules, right? Illegals must apply through legal means. We do want everyone to comply with the law, now don't we. For the most part the word illegals symbolizes ill gotten gains. All people are accountable and must comply with immigration laws.

They surely don't pay enough. And with pending legislation that SS argument will disappear quickly. It is proposed to pay social security to illegals in their own countries. Even if they only paid a couple of years into false or stolen accounts. Wake up people... you are being robbed
