Christianity was devised by men to control the masses by perpetrating a false doctrine about a regular man. Jesus was a great man but not any more to son of God than you or I. He was made divine by (not so) clever bishops who wanted to create a religion with as wide an appeal as possible, hence taking much from many Pagan & dualistic religions to form Christianity. It's not worth going into a discussion about this because the Bible quotes will be numerous but the reasoned rationale or even the actual history of the religion will be absent.
The Christian god derived from Greek mythology, stone age superstition and Jewish speculation about the formation of creation. And remember Genesis tells us that there is more than one God which Christianity does not successfully explain.
Christianity was and is about going to church to pay the collection. It used to be tithes or taxes when church and state were one but now it just keeps the preachers in big houses and 4x4 jeeps, peeps...
Peace

Matthew skipped over some.
...and, he's giving Joseph's genealogy, not Jesus's.

Another question you could ask would be, how come Luke's genealogy for Joseph disagrees with Matthew's? Sure, it's tradition that Luke is actually giving Mary's genealogy and not Joseph's... but what do you call the decision to give Mary's genealogy without mentioning Mary? I call it "uninspired."

The generations that are covered are only the important ones.

God, is able to do more than we can ever imagine possible. He took a part of himself and became man so that we can have the ultimate sacrifice for our sins to be forgiven.

In the Jewish traditions, they would sacrifice animals for the forgiveness of sins; now that Jesus Christ (Yeshua) shed His blood, died, and was risen again. We no longer have to make animal sacrifices.

It is also called, BELIEVING that God (Jehovah) is Almighty and Powerful enough; to accomplish things that we can and will never be able to.

When a person has true faith, they need not question things; because it is through faith that we receive knowledge and understanding of God's Ways!

Others have answered. I had many questions like you. But after several years of instruction I now see that The Bible fits together beautifully. I could never have achieved this understanding studying alone. You need to get into the minds of bronze age writers who had to convey things to the uneducated, hence the seemingly nieve style. Also the prophecy side is very complex.

Joseph became the earthly father parent to Jesus. the common clarification why the geneologies in Mathew and Luke get complicated is by technique of the fact In mathew it mentions Joseph's actual organic and organic father Jacob....yet In Luke it mentions Joseph's father in-regulation Heli. by using technicality while Joseph and Mary "hooked-up",Heli grew to enhance into Joseph's father additionally. NOW.......... to understand why a virgin delivery became even mandatory, you're able to be able to desire to understand that, the messianic bloodline from Adam to Jesus had to have God's provision and blessing to artwork. yet, there is an account in Kings or Chronicles have been God publicizes a blood curse on Jechonias. you will think of that God had shot himself in the foot. i could purely think of the reaction in the councils of devil. Now Jechonias became portion of the lineage from David's son Solomon right down to Joseph. yet using this curse, God went by using David's different son Nathan right down to Mary on my own.

It's breath (Spirit) that gives life. Not necessarily physical birth.

the second part of your question.

How can God be a descendent of David? The bible speaks of God, as More than one. In Hebrew, "Elohiom" meant a plural God.

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

John 1:1-3,14
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 10:30-33
30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

34Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

35If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

37If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Jesus is the Son of God the Father.

Isaiah 9:
6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

IT WAS A PROPHESY.

Genesis 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Romans 16:20
And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

The first part of your question.

You will have to do the math yourself,

The MAN BELOW, ME SAID.

You are fooled by Trinity.

I have heard many explaintions of Trintiy. The vary from church to Church.

Believe the bible, and pray to God. We know in Part and Prophesy in Part. Jesus is the Son of God, he is I AM.
