My parents treat me like a kid even though I'm 15. Granted, I have a lot of screw-ups, but how can I convince them that I still deserve fair treatment? Ugh...I don't mean to sound like a whiner, but they just don't understand me and I don't know what to do. Help!

your parents do understand you although it's a different time, the experiences that your experiencing they have lived through it already... they are trying to show you from right and wrong... and believe me just because your 15 doesn't mean you know everything.... i'm 25 and still don't understand everything... try to listen to them.... and put your point across.... try to yourself in their shoes and see what would do if you had a 15 yr old kid... what would you be telling them to do? it's different when your only thinking about yourself.

Girl i know what you mean. You know what your parents just treat you like a baby because they don't wanna accept that you are not a little girl anymore..that is what they all do. to get their attention, do ONE that would make them so proud and win their trust. if u do they will realize they were wrong and you are responsible enough to be treated like an adult(experienced...lol)
good luck k (^o^)

Sit your parents down and ask them what they expect from you and what is a good agreement for them and you.
