She likes the smell of you, and the warmth of the coat, if you do not want her to lie on the coat, try laying out a blanket for her.

all cats have funny ways when she lays on you coat just sat down and rub her gently especially under her neck and on top of her head all cats love that and she might start being more friendly towards you expecting u to rub her all the time when u come in or just being in the house with her

I think your cat likes you and your coat.
but what got to me is this: why is your coat on the floor? Doesn't your mother get onto you about that? :)

No it don't mean she likes you. It just means your coat is comfortable and soft. Oh ya it's probably really warm too.

I think your coat makes a very comfortable sleep surface.
It could also be attracted to your scent, and really does like you.
She may just be playing hard-to-get. :)

It means both. She likes your coat because it is nice, warm texture and she sleeps on it because it smell of you (her owner) and that is comforting to her. That very sweet of her...

even as a cat rubs his head or the fringe of his chin adversarial to you, the furniture, or any merchandise, he's really depositing his fragrance on them as area of territorial marking. He makes use of his glands on his brow and round his mouth and chin. those glands produce chemical substances observed as pheromones, which he transfers by technique of rubbing adversarial to gadgets. Cats can tell how in the previous a fragrance became left and how a lot interest they prefer to pay to the caution.
