I have been told by and allergist and medical doctor that if your going to have a reaction to egg products it will be the yolk and not the egg whites.

The egg part. just joking, ti would depend upon what you are allergic to, you could be allergic to the whole thing, you could be allergic to the proteins in it. You would have to define the exact allergen of the person, which is pretty hard to do to find out.

Allergic hypersensitivity reactions are typically against the major protein component of eggs, which is the albumin (i.e. egg white, NOT the yolk)

the yolk the whites don't do a thing but some people are allergic to the whites but mostly the yolks make them allergies

How do you know when you are allergic to eggs? If you are truly allergic to eggs you would be allergic to almost all usual baked goods including most bread.
