I lived in Honolulu, Hawaii for a while and my experience was that grocery items were pretty pricey. Stuff that was from Hawaii, like fresh fruit and fish, were incredibly cheap, but dairy was easily twice the cost of the mainland. I'm sorry, I can't give you specific examples, but the price of groceries is definitely higher than in the rest of the States.

I cant remember exact prices, but when my mom went back to visit she sent diapers to my grandmas house because they were just too expensive down there, and she spent over 3,000 in a three month period, mostly on "everyday" stuff.

i dont know about the other stuff but i know milk is about $6 a gallon on Waikiki Beach - its cheaper a walmart but not by much!

i dont remember any of those prices all bob remembers is arizona ice tea the long one is 99 cents when on sale.
