Christians see what we see, we just have the ability to see THROUGH the BS.

A true Christian will never tell you are blind. To be a Christian means allowing everyone a chance to believe whatever they want to believe. Our job is simply to spread the word but if one is not willing to listen or has his or her own views on the subject, we are to simply wish them well and walk away.

Whether you believe in Christ or not, religion should not be a basis for destruction or argument. It has no positive outcome when becoming an argument and only receives a negative outcome at that.

I dont think that anyone, christian or not, is blind to anything. People feel what is in thier hearts and no amount of speculative or argumentative sermons will alter that itself. We can only provide people with our knowledge and hope that this sparks a fire. If it doesnt then this is simply the nature of who you are.

You are not blind. no more than a Christian is blind. I just think the whole religious war between 'so called' christians and athiests is merely an ego trip and a way of trying to say 'I am right and you are wrong'. What does it matter? I've seen Christians that have sexually abused a child... I've seen Athiests that live healthy respectful lives and commit no crimes.... I've the exact opposite as well.... so what does it matter? Proving that Christianity is true is not the focus that we were empowered to put into people's view to begin with. We were only instructed to teach one another to love one another do good. Christianity is merely a title. If you dont believe in Christ then your judge will be Gods doing. If you dont beleive that then don't. Its not my job to put a gun to your head tell you to vow allegence to my god.

Just dont be blind to love and respect and any Christian should have nothing to complain about. Until there is solid evidence of God or solid evidence that there is no God, then there are no such thing as blind people in this respect. Just peope that see the same thing but beleive something different.

I would like to think that christians and athiests are all blind in comparison to what I believe myself. But who am I to say this. Maybe I'm blind. I cant deny that I am blind until God has judged me.

This is rather long and most are stated as questions.

Please read all.

The oddities of things. I'm Obsolete! Welcome!

Have you ever noticed how the USA's described, proclaimed and declared colors match that of the Ark of the Covenant colors in the Old Testament?

Have you considered that possibly Captain and Capital pertain to an idea of 50, whether it be Captain of 50 men, groups, troops, etc., etc., etc..?

Have you ever considered that the beast that rises up in the Middle East may not be the actual geographical location?
I mean with Revelation being written in symbolic form, could it refer to another location.

Consider this! Why is it that an established Militaries Headquarters in 1943 has the symbol of a pentagon as a structure?
Also, note that this establishment's main entrance is on the south side.
Also consider this, though that symbol is used to identify the "god of this world" not as the guts of a pentagon, but rather declared as a pentagram.
How can one declare "One Nation under God," based on The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit of Creation.
Do you find that a little odd?

Consider this! Could the three (3) spirits mentioned in Revelation Be?
1) Government equals anti-christ.
2) Capitalism equals false (profit) prophet.
3) Technology equals beast.
Also consider that one (1) element missing means that the other two (2) cannot exist.
Example: without capitalism a government would cease to exist, so also would technology.

Have you noticed that technology is headed to the extremes? One side is Gigantic! The other side is Nano!
Examples: Gigantic; Earth moving equipment for strip mining operations.
Nano; rfid's so small they can fit under the dot on a letter "i" written in the small print of a prescription bottle. Specifically used for tracking the product. Does this seem a little odd?

Could the people of the world have actually been fooled by technology?
I can think of a couple of recent events where this may be very plausible.
Is it technology that will fool the masses when the appointed time comes?

Consider this! Could it be that the "one" who comes to the world at “it's” most desperate need for peace, actually be mankind's finest creation through technology?
With established Artificial Intelligence and fed all of the world's history so as to be able to diagnose, investigate and determine the best avenue in dialog. To establish a purpose to bring about peace and security and order in a chaotic world.
Example: Ever watched Star Trek TNG? Does Data who was established as an "entity being" with the right to legitimacy as being human as established by human law on the show bring anything to mind?
There was also a theme of “What if ... he turns against us?” added to the character of Data as well.

Consider this: How would the anti-christ overcome the beast?
How could the beast bring the anti-christ back to life?
Could both be one in the same?
Perhaps Technology?

Consider this! If the anti-christ is actually man's finest creation in technology, could it be plausible "it" would rule the financial world through technology i.e.: cashless society, not requiring to get permission from the ten (10) world financial banking establishments, because "it" already has control of "it?"

Consider this! I have established through a set of questions, "the oddities of things." So exactly where would be the "safest place" in the world as of today to allow "the abomination that causes desolation" to arise up out of the "middle east?"

The CIRCLE is replete!

Cheers!

We see nothing more than you do, the only difference I can see, is that the priority we take in our lives, hinges upon the faith. That is to say, we were told, and taught, and then practiced and discovered. Much like a science experiment, except you start becoming edified, or you start becoming skeptical. Now, when you reach that branch of spiritual development, you either start praying and edifying even more, or you fall away. A person has to be responsible for their faith, and tend it like a plant. You just can't say: "I believe" and then not do anything.

Atheists also edify themselves by reading literature that supports the theories their most comfortable with, and by discussion and seeking like-minded people.

It's a choice, as far as I can tell, but to tell the truth, faith is a gift.

What Christians are you talking to? Apparently the wrong ones. Your not "blind" people just haven't explained things to help you understand better.
Well most Christians look around and see that the Earth in all its magnificence wouldn't have come about by accident. So we believe a creator or greater being made the Earth. The Bible...which actually states that it was inspired by God is a very scientific and historical book. It said the Earth was round way before scientists said the Earth was flat. That in itself is enough to believe that there is a greater being who wants humans to know all about him and the universe. Look around next time your outside and look at the detail of a tree or or the landscape and tell me that it just occurred by accident.

I used to be an atheist and I couldnt see the truth either until I was ready to. As an unbeliever, I was blind to the truth of the Gospel- that we are sinners and need to be redeemed by Christ and have to live for him spreading his word. These are all foreign concepts to an unbeliever and certain things have to happen and they have to be ultimately willing to accept Gods will when the time comes. God gives everyone a chance but it is up to them to have an ounce of faith to get it going!

Well, as a Christian, I would say that you don't see beyond this physical world. There is a whole spiritual realm here. Miricles, or whatever you want to call them, some things are just not natural. People think you are blind because they believe that they have found the truth.

Hello Bronze_El.. :)

Our eyes are opened to the "Truth"..for when one asks Jesus into their hearts they are set free from drugs, hatred, anger all that causes nothing but heartache..

We can see others through the eyes of Jesus..His Love abides within us..we do not look down upon others, but we pray for others..we seek out those who are in need, so we may help them any way possible.. :)

This is from a former Atheist..

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

For those of The True Christian Faith we know, with absolute certainty that God exists and we know what He has done for us..... Faith not based on fact is fantacy. Those of The Faith know God and know The Truth of God... so... our Faith is that The God we Know will guide us in The Way and that what he says and askes of us we can have Faith in.... Only those who know The Truth of The Way can have this Faith...I know for a certainty that my Salvation is assured and that when my mortal time is up and when Christ comes to call me to meet Him... I will be with my Lord and Master in Heaven...I also know with certainty that all those who reject God will, ultimatly, be rejected by God... and their fate will not be good.

You have an immortal soul... it is your choice as to where you will spend your immortal life... There are two choices... one is very very bad... choose wisely... I know for a fact I have

I know my own truth. The christians think I'll go to a hell that doesn't exist, to experience annihilation by the hands of a god that doesn't exist, and that we should live by the doctrines of 2000 year old guidelines. I'm sorry, but this is 2007. We have WAY better things to do than to force people to believe anything anymore. We at least have the ability to live and let live, not live and FORCE.

Well we OBVIOUSLY haven't seen the "glory of the Lord"... because... well gosh, if we had seen it, we'd already be on our knees.

Then again Christians are seeing not what is real but what they're told is there, what they "feel" is there, what they believe is there.

Others have conjured up the same conviction when it comes to different worldviews, philosophies and faiths... but apparently the Christian feelings trump all because the Bible is just so gall darn impressive. Throw all those other Holy Books to the wind, by golly. The Bible is what they FEEL is the truth and if we can't change our lives because of their FEELINGS... then we're LOST!
