The other day I asked a question on here about why do so many hispanics raised by English speaking parents have a Spanish accent then why can't I have an English accent because i'm English American? People just thought I was faking it but i've stayed in England for a couple years and I watch the BBC.... My parents have a small one. I guess I just picked a small one up over the years.

I was just wondering what most Americans thought about English accents.. but might have never told me!

I'm neutral. But I don't think it sounds any better or worse than the next.

I like British accents, but I don't think you pick one up after a couple of years.

I think British accents accentuate a person's character. If you're smart, you sound smarter. Conversely, if your dumb, you sound dumber. If hot, you sound hotter, etc...
