Try this its a chocolate cake with an orange custard and it serves 1

For the cake
1 slice chocolate cake
85ml/3fl oz double cream
½ miniature bottle of Baileys
4-5 orange segments
For the orange custard
150ml/5fl oz double cream
2 egg yolks
2 tbsp caster sugar
2-3 orange segments, diced
For the praline
85g/3oz caster sugar
55g/2oz pecan nuts, roughly chopped

Method
1. Cut the cake into a round and use to line an 8cm/3in chef's ring placed on a serving plate.
2. Place the cream and Baileys into a medium bowl and whisk together until thick.
3. Spoon the cream mixture on top of the cake and smooth off the top using a palette knife.
4. Remove the ring and arrange the orange segments on top.
5. To make the orange custard heat the cream in a medium pan for a few minutes.
6. Beat the egg yolks in a bowl with the sugar. Pour the hot cream onto the egg yolks, stirring constantly. Mix well then
return to the pan.
7. Stir over a low heat until the mixture thickens. Stir in the diced orange segments.
8. Drizzle the custard over the cake and serve.
9. To make the praline, heat the sugar in a non-stick pan until dissolved and a caramel has formed.
10. Add the pecan nuts, shaking the pan to coat.
11. Tip the mixture out onto a piece of baking parchment or Teflon and allow to cool.
12. Once the mixture has cooled, break it up to form small pieces.
13. Sprinkle the praline pieces over the cake and serve

50g/2oz caster sugar

This is good :-) It bakes in 2 layers with the cake on top and a sauce beneath. Serve warm or cold.

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

1½ cups sugar, divided
1 cup all purpose flour
7 T Hershey’s cocoa, divided
2 T baking powder
¼ t salt
½ cup milk
⅓ cup butter melted (or margarine)
1½ t vanilla
½ cup light brown sugar, packed
1¼ cup hot water

In medium mixing bowl combine ¾ cup sugar, flour, 3 T cocoa, baking powder and salt. Blend in milk and melted butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into greased and floured 8” x 8” x 2” or 9” x 9” x 2” pan. In small bowl combine remaining ½ cup sugar, brown sugar and 4 T cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top. Do not stir. Bake 40 minutes at 350°. Let stand 15 minutes, spoon into dessert dishes, spooning sauce from bottom of pan over tops.
