The last thing I would hate to do is give a wrong answer that led to an audit and fines... so I would recommend checking the IRS site,

http://www.irs.gov/faqs/index.html

Or calling their tax experts: 1-800-829-1040

The call and support is 100% free - the fines for an incorrect tax return and audit are not.

If they are true dependents, why would there be a limit on the number of them? Some people have a lot of children, and you should be able to include all of them on your return if that applies to you. Just make sure they all meet the guidelines for a dependent though. Sounds like you can get the Additional Child Tax Credit which means you have at least 3 children or more. That's always a bonus because you can actually get a refund for that....the Child Tax Credit just reduces the amount of taxes you owe and is not an actual refund.

There is no limit as to how many dependents you can claim. You must be sure they all qualify.
