Probably St. Sidney but that was a man. The closest female name I could find was St. Simone.

You could look up the meaning of the name Sydney and find a saint's name close to that. ... that would be St. Dennis

His feast is October 9
The headless holy man, sometimes depicted with vines growing from his neck, has a name bearing a resemblance to Dionysis, the ancient Greek god of vegetation and wine. This suggests a Christian appropriation of the prechristian figure of the Greenman. In myth and folklore, the Greenman is also beheaded (a figure of the harvest) and is usually depicted with vines growing from his face and neck. His early time of living, 250 CE, also suggests such appropriation, as many Catholic saints are based on pre Christian figures. (Stl Brigid also comes to mind)

there's a saint for every day of the year. What day were you born on? (According to the Ruthenian Catholic faith, I was born on the day assigned to Macarius, martyr) I've always imagined someone being torn to pieces by lions whenever I think of it, but I really don't know what his life was about, since he was a very early saint.
