i just read the most desturbing article at faithfreedom.org by ali sina. not believeing what i read from the koran i googled' koran sex with a infant'. sharia law comes directly from allah and muslems want to impose that on all man kind. i will warn you if you are a non-muslem it is extremely revolting. i got sick and threw up. if someone would read it and give me a light version.

NOOOO, Islam does NOT allow this. The Quran speaks of getting a period first. You are talking about that khomeini guy, and most muslims agree he is sick in the head big time. I have not met a single muslim who think this type of behavior is acceptable or even remotely islamic.

There re sources that say this, that she was six. This is a painful isue for many, and the more I did research, the more i sa the complicated issue at hand, therefore i go back in my word, I had first answered that several practices occured as a result of Islam. however i do agree that God nowehere will allow such things, and in the same sense sinfulness has existed in all cultures throughout the ages, be it the religion it may be.

Ya they will defend Muhammad's "right" to have sex with a child. "No she wasn't six years old..she was NINE!" How gross! A nine year old girl looks exactly like a 6 year old...only a bit taller. She has none of the grown woman attributes that men are naturally attracted to. He was a perve and his actions of marrying and consumating that marraige with a CHILD proves it. It is indefensible.

he was only following the example set by Constantine the great, without whom the christian church would not exist. he married an 8 year old girl to cement a political alliance with his co-emperor. there are probably many criticisms that can be laid against Islam, but if this is levelled at it then the same must be laid against the enabler and architect of modern Christianity

Read the bible. You will find many similarities with respect to the inconsistencies, contradictions, prejudice, judgment, hatred, sexual and abusive patriarchy, the taking of young girls for wives, rampant violence, the admonitions to avoid befriending non-believers and the general prohibitions to prevent exposure to free thought and "other" philosophies that might threaten the church.
