Is it a canker sore or a herpes outbreak. Don't get upset, Herpes on the mouth is not unusual and not always caused by "doing something wrong". (Assuming that you are not engaging in oral sex. A BIG no, no!)
The sun, stress and other emotional conditions cause them to erupt. If you feel a tingling in that area, before you see a sore, take Llizine. over the counter pills. It is like a vitamin, and it will slow down or stop it before it begins and you may not get the sore. It is caused by the chicken pox virus that never completely goes away from your body. Stress or too much sun causes it to show its face again.
When you feel that little tingle, like a tickle in the same spot on your mouth know that is your clue to take the Llizine.
If you do have an outbreak, understand that you can transfer it to your privates if you should have an open sore in that area, and then you have a whole new issue. Wash your hands thoroughly, whenever touching an open sore on your mouth or anywhere else on your body. Just as a precaution.
Abreva and Viractin will help it to heal quicker, than if you just let it run its course. Hope this helps.

A canker sore is not the same thing as Herpes. I might be wrong but I thought Abreva was more for cold sores. My suggestion would be to use sea salts, make sure you keep your teeth clean (tooth and gum problems can cause an increase in cankers) and reduce your intake of citrus products...
Good luck...

Abreva is for cold sores not canker sores. If you have a cold sore then try abreva but if you have a canker sore than there is not a whole lot you can do. The two are NOT the same by the way.

On your lip is not a canker sore its a cold sore and almost all cold sores are herpes. That abervea stuff will reduce the time its there but there is unfortunately no cure for herpes. On the other hand if you meant that it is insidee your mouth perhaps around the insid of your lip try swooshing salt water. If you can stand a little pain the best thing is to put some hydrogen peroxide on a Q-tip and dab it on the sore. It will be gone in a day or 2 if you do that. Best of luck!

If i it s a canker (on the inside of your mouth), I use aphadolphalus (sp?) to try to heal it.. I believe Abreva (not sure though) is for cold sores - which are on the outside of the mouth. I have also been told that there is a mouthwash that is made for people with cankers .. not sure of the name though.. hope this helps.

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about four yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I know loads of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/7f5dn everything changed.
Not only was I able to clear away all remnants of the herpes virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This system provided the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

Put ice on it and put something like Abreva to make it go away faster. And don't touch it and mess around with it, it'll only make it worse.

Black Walnut
Comes in a capsul at any health store. Open it up and pat some of it on the canker.

I used to get those a lot. Blistex helps take the soreness and sting away; and also dries it up. You can get it at any drug store. It comes in a small tube as a cream.

There's some stuff called kanka or something like that...It's in a small container with a blue cover. I don't know if it helps get rid of them any faster, but it will numb it so it doesn't hurt.
