HUH? I heard something about some SpongeBob issue about a year ago...something to do with Gay and Lesbian organizations using some video to indoctrinate our school age children with the gay agenda thinly veiled as something else. I'm not sure the complete story...but one of the characters in the video was Spongebob. My kids watch Spongebob on TV all the time and I'm quite fond of SpongeBob...but people can use any beloved cartoon character to promote anything. So beware of hidden agendas....just look at that movie "Happy Feet". Basically a public service announcement for Green Peace and the UN. It's funny how certain organizations use film to recruit the most innocent and manipulatible of victims.

The show's biggest concern from parents include its sexual innuendo. SpongeBob's somewhat feminine characteristics and his close relationship with Patrick led some viewers to the conclusion that he is gay since he has never been known to have a girlfriend or be attracted to any females, apart perhaps from Sandy Cheeks. It was pointed out on several episodes that he wears make-up and mascara on his eyebrows and around the beginning of the third season, SpongeBob and Patrick were seen holding hands.

There is no legitimate case for religious groups to continue to discriminate against gay people when society at large has recognised that such discrimination is deeply immoral.

Spongebob Squarepants isn't gay to my knowledge, he's certainly camp but no more so than Bugs Bunny.

Sponge bob doesn't make your son gay. Certain cartoons just promote tolerance. Like shark tales. They made a shark be "different" he just wanted to paint and like people. He didn't want to kill things. It's not just cartoons. All of the new shows have at least one gay person in them, so that we all get used to having gay people around us. So the shock value is lessened and eventually gone. That is how Hollywood works.

The gay agenda is the socio-political goals of liberals and gays alike to normalize and homosexualize the US. Not literally to make everyone gay, but make everyone think that it is good and there is nothing wrong with it and its starting to work! The other important goal for them is to insult Christianity as much as they can and cut it down to size. Anything that remotely disagrees with the liberal/gay agenda is a threat.
