Why do cats cover their faces when it rains?

My cat does this too, when she HEARS water runnning, it could be the sound of the rain.

The same reason we do to keep the water out of there eyes.

they dont like water most of them I have a part minx that loves water

They don't like water.It sinks in their skin and makes them really really,really cold.
