Don't worry about it now! Have the baby, nurse him or her, and do some exercise. You'll be fine.

Nursing is the best thing you can do, it will keep flooding the body with oxytocin and help the uterus shrink faster; it uses up an extra 500 calories a day so it is good to get rid of fat too. When the baby is about two months old (if the birth is vaginal) you can start with stuff like sit-ups ti strengthen the abdominal wall (make sure to check with your doctor first). There will always be a hint of roundness to the abdomen, the hips, and breasts. Getting pregnant finishes our bodies' maturation and gives us those nice feminine curves. If you have some lasting flab, wear it proudly, wyou earned it!

You can't always prevent it. Try to eat right, rub Palmer's Cocoa Butter for stretch marks on your belly everyday, walk for 30 minutes a day... all the normal things to prevent belly flab.
You have to expect your body to change somewhat.... it will be stretched, and carrying a heavy load.

Make healthy choices. Eat nutritious food and stay active. After the baby is born, nursing will help you lose those extra baby pounds. Pilates also will help get your pre-baby tummy back in shape.

My first baby, I lost all my baby weight within one month. My second baby, I lost all my weight within 2 months. My third baby I havent lost anything yet, and shes 2 1/2. It all depends on your body and motivation. Breastfeeding helps lots.

There's nothing you can do about it now. Enjoy being pregnant. After you have the baby hit the gym.
