I was born with the hair people with straight hair dream of! But, it's my nightmare! So, bad I have even tried to contact Maury Povich for a make-over, ha! I have tried every shampoo, conditioner, gels, mousse, not shampooing and only conditioning, reverse perms... EVERYTHING! My hair, no matter what, is still thick and frizzy, especially on humid days. It's long (to my butt). I have had it thinned out and it only grows back thicker. I am so stuck! My fiance hates my hair and I really think about cutting it sometimes, but the last time I did I had a big afro, and I'm white! Nothing against the colored. I just hate my hair, and not even straighteners help. Is there anyone out there who can help me?!

Don't use the john Fredia, his products weigh your hair down. If your hair is curly and as bad as you say it is then it is heavy enough. Use "Texture" that's a line of products that are great. Id recommend "Texture Smoothing Serum" it is exceptional for your type of hair and gives great curl definition as well as "Texture Shine" that one will give your hair a great shine and controls frizz. Try those or Flexible Illuminator Gel by Kiwi. That product is weightless and gives a touchable hold.IE. its flexible and doesn't feel stiff like gel or hairspray. It provides high shine and is great whether blow dried or air dried

If it's down to your butt, no wonder it's so frizzy! Cut it to at least a little above your elbow, if not a bit shorter. Believe me, I know where you're coming from. I got my hair clinically straightened and it was fine for a while, it looked perfectly straight and my friends were amazed and most never believe that I was a frizz-head. But it damages your hair SO BADLY, I really wish now I had never done it.

To control your hair I would suggest some leave-in conditioner, and then some gel, scrunch your hair while you're drying it. Don't let it dry naturally, blow dry it on low or get a wide blow dryer attachment that's made for curly hair.

Good luck :)

i'm no professional, besides the undeniable fact that it seems such as you have fairly some fly aways from broken hair (in case you dye it or brush it too plenty curly hair is particularly fragile and could wreck) i take advantage of this incredibly solid reconstructor referred to as Joico ok Pak reconstructor. Its a deep conditioning therapy and could mushy your hair and supply it lots of keratin and protein and all the solid stuff it desires leaving it comfortable no longer greasy and fit. Its like 15.00 a bottle at maximum salons and sweetness grant shops. (the typical additionally works nicely) in case you utilize a "smoothing creme' your basically going to masks the subject and its confusing to locate a solid one that would not grease your head up. That works for me, my hair feels easy and silky all week, basically use it as quickly as a week it lasts a protracted time solid good fortune!

Have you tried a leave-in conditioner? Both my daughter and I have the same problem. We use a leave-in conditioner called Infusium23 for dry hair. It works great!!
