My dog has taken house trained very well and she is about six months now and up until now only had about two mistakes (which were mainly because we couldn't read her whining signs). Although this week alone she has had already like 4-5 accidents in the house...and i'm starting to worry. As far as I've seen her urine has been normal color...or yellow..but no stones/crystals/blood in it. She got spayed two weeks ago, so it shouldn't be alpha behavior. And I doubt she's trying to get attention because usually she's caught doing it when she just looked away for a minute or two...anybody know why she suddenly started urinating in the house or possible reasons? THank YOu.

I agree w/ the first answer. Talk to your vet, or make an appointment, to check for a urinary tract infection. This is common after a dog gets spayed.

Just being spayed has more than likely caused a urinary tract infection, it is very common. The only other thing I could suggest is the attention but you already covered that. Clean the areas with bakingsoda and vinegar to get rid of the smell. The smell will continue to intice her to go in the house and dogs don't like vinegar.

We used to use vinegar to keep our dog in the yard and out of the garden.

It could be a sign of a urinary track infection. Many female dogs encounter his shortly after being spayed. Follow-up with the vet, take her out more frequently than normal, make sure she always has plenty of water, and clean the area with a deep cleaning solution. Any left over scent will cause her to continue going inside. You may have to clean the area four or five times.

My Miniature Schnauzer is six months and she to just got spayed. I have no problem with her urinating in the house. Try taking her out more often, when she leaves your sight that may mean she needs to go out. If she is small enough try to make her a lap dog. When she gets out of your lap take her out. I am against caging a dog unless you leave the house.

After a canines has urinated or defecated in the domicile, needless to say you will clean this up. possibly you think of which you have have been given have been given rid of the scent and your acquaintances is normally sure this, even however your canines will nevertheless notice of a scent. Your canines thinks that your domicile is a bathing room; canines have a lots greater beneficial experience of scent than we've. in the united kingdom there's a bathing powder to apply in washing machines suggested as Ariel get the organic and organic version Or get some specific cleansing answer from the puppy keep and clean your floor with this. once you're specific which you have wiped clean each thing of the floor that your canines has pooed or peed on do here. while your canines urinates exterior and while that's in finished bypass use a seize word I say “get one”, continuously use the comparable seize word while your canines obliges. compliment profusely afterwards, enable your canines sniff around the backyard/backyard and play with it. Use your catchphrase for something of your canines’s existence and while it’s an person it incredibly is going to pee on command. if your canines urinates on the flooring or carpets which you have wiped clean, you haven't any longer wiped clean them sufficient and you will could desire to do them returned. in no way EVER USE PINE DISINFECTANT OR BLEACH because of the fact THIS ENCOURAGES A canines TO URINATE, regrettably if that's a urinary an infection, she would be able to be no longer able to regulate her bladder.

Have a vet check her.

Also, go back to square one in house breaking. She just needs to be reinforced again. Remember this is still training time. She is young.
