The Chippewa Flowage is a BEAUTIFUL lake. I am not sure if you are into Muskie fishing but the current world's largest came from that lake. The lake holds panfish, walleyes, cats, northern pike, perch, crappies, a few trout, and I am sure more fish that I just haven't caught from there yet.

wow, where to start....what type of fishing? what part of the state? For muskie, try St. Germain area, Eagle River, Rhinelander. http://www.twinwaters.com/
I would suggest looking at several fishing forums to get an idea where to go. Also, try John Gillespies site. He has a fishing program and fishes all over Wisc. http://www.thenextbite.com/site/index.cfm?CFID=362860&CFTOKEN=57150238
