there really isn't a lot that you can do here. the best thing for you to do is split the things that have to be done in half. you do the important things because you are the mature one and give the half of the non-important things to him. only do your half and then go and have fun. by you or your parents doing things for your brother, he is not learning responsibility. don't worry if he has done his things or not. remember, they are not your responsibility. if they do not get done then when your parents come home, explain to them that he did not do his part. he needs to learn the consequences of not doing things that he should be doing. once you are done with your chores, then go and have fun, you deserve it. do not worry about him. hopefully this will help you out a lot. just do your best, that is all anyone could ask for. good luck.

Your parents should be giving him these instructions....NOT YOU. A 17 year old brother taking instructions from his 15 year old sister is a sure-fire recipe for friction and disaster.

Try a different approach remember he is the older of the two. Try putting yourself in his shoes, and evaluate your approach. You'll get more out of a person when you learn how to go about it.

you do what you have to and let him fend for himself... if you are the wiser one and younger then you go!! In time he will see what he does wrong! Or get acam recorder and record it ....tell your parents...and how can your parents leave for seven days? how do you guys eat? take out?

boys are like that. you should try talking to him and get really serious and tell him that you want a brother to look after you, tell him to change.

ok, what is wrong with him first of all?, and if he doesn't help you that's fine too, you will get all the credit, so forget him mama, he'll be the one in trouble for not helping when your people's come home

whats wrong with him? if he won't listen, theres nothing you can do but tell your parents. call them and have them speak to him. it always works for me with my brother.

I really think you need to speak to your parents about this one. What pills does he need?
